Christmas is a time of year when mankind and womankind stop complaining about their miserable lot in life for just one day, long enough to embrace each other and harken back to days of yore when people were good and kind, and nobody hurt anybody else, and there was no crime or disease, and chocolate eclairs cost a nickel, and everybody lived to be a thousand years old.

Of course these days, you can't walk down the street without being mugged or shot at or spit upon by complete strangers, but this is the world we have created and the one we choose to live in. So, let us all rise up and let this Christmas mark the year when we choose love over hate, peace over war, and chocolates over peppermint candy canes.

I say, let this be the Christmas of glory. The Christmas of pride. The Christmas of happiness.

Indeed, let this be The Christmas of Sassan™.
